Malcolm D. Schick is the founder of G&P | SCHICK. Mr. Schick is a native of Kingston, New York and moved to San Diego in 1981. He attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Western State University, College of Law in 1984. He was the President of the Student Bar Association and contributing writer for the school newspaper.

Mr. Schick became a partner with Gray & Prouty shortly after joining the firm in 1992. Mr. Schick purchased the Civil Litigation Division of Gray & Prouty and founded G&P|SCHICK in 2011. In 2021, G&P | SCHICK downsized and Mr. Schick now practices as a solo practitioner. Mr. Schick is admitted to practice before all the Courts of the State of California and United States District Courts in California.
